Licking County Medical Reserve Corps “The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a national network of volunteers, organized locally to improve the health and safety of their communities."

The MRC network comprises 993 community-based units and 207,783 volunteers located throughout the United States and its territories. The MRC is sponsored by the Office of the U.S Surgeon General. Members include professionals working in and around the healthcare industry, or a health related field, within the Licking County, Ohio area, or professionals who live in the Licking County communities. I

The Licking County Health Department is in need of volunteer nurses on November 1, 2017 to help out at a Women's Health Screening Event. Nurses are needed to measure blood pressure, heights, and weights of participants and talk to them about BMI. Nurses are needed at the health department from 8:45 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
