WHAT A FULL CIRCLE MOMENT
In 1990, NICU nurse Vilma Wong worked at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, caring for premature babies who needed constant support to survive. Among them was a baby boy named Brandon Seminatore, born at just 29 weeks and weighing a little over 2 pounds.
For more than a month, Vilma helped care for him in the neonatal intensive care unit. Every day focused on helping him grow stronger, one small step at a time.
