The Delaware Division of Alcohol & To***co Enforcement is proud to announce our Youth Police Academy happening the week of July 13th!

This FREE summer program gives Delaware high school students a hands-on look at law enforcement, led by experienced DATE officers. Cadets will take part in interactive training and demonstrations, including:

💪 Physical Fitness
🚓 Police K9 Demonstration
🚁 Law Enforcement Drone Operations
🚫 Alcohol, Drug & To***co Prevention
🚗 DUI & Distracted Driving Awareness
🧠 Self-Discipline & Leadership

📍 Location: Delaware National Guard Readiness Center, Smyrna
🕗 Schedule: Monday–Thursday (8 AM – 4 PM)
🎓 Graduation: Friday at Noon

Eligibility:

Narcan has saved and changed so many lives in Delaware and across the country. Last week, Dave Humes and Jim Gillen, on behalf of atTAcK addiction, trained 44 teachers, school nurses and staff from the Colonial School District on how to use the medication that can reverse an opioid overdose, and provided each of them with free kits.
