RU-N Organization of African Students The Organization of African Students at Rutgers University Newark, aims to inform our community about the cultural and social ideals of our people.

The Organization of African students is an association dedicated to increasing the cultural, historical, political, and economic awareness about the many countries of Africa and their relationship with the rest of the world. The Organization's goals are to educate the Rutgers Community as well as the Newark Community about African Heritage through performing arts/ community service and academic pa

nels that reflect on the issues in Africa while also maintaining strong ties with other campus organizations that are receptive to campus diversity. OAS is about bringing together, not only the African community, but people from different regions of the world. We all learn about each other and work together to bring diversity to the Rutgers-Newark community. Come join us to experience the different sides of Africa.
