Glasses were clinked! 🥂

Sharing select moments from Monday's celebration of the passage of the 𝐀𝐏𝐍 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝟐𝟗𝟗𝟔 / 𝐀𝟒𝟎𝟓𝟐 which allows full practice authority for certain advanced practice nurses in NJ. This special event was coordinated by NJCCN and made possible by the Rutgers School of Nursing and was used to not only honor several people for their stellar advocacy work but also to set the stage for NJ nursing organizations to continue collaborating with a united front on common issues going forward. As conductor Robert Shaw once said, "When we all sing with one voice, the world will stop and listen."

Special thank you to Drs. Angela Starkweather, Marcel Kaganovskaya, and Edna Cadmus as well as all the nurse leaders and nursing organizations who attended.

Thank you to Governor Mikie Sherrill,
Senator Joe Vitale and his staff as well as all the NJ legislators who supported this bill.
Congratulations to all those honored! 🎖️
