Nonantum Mills Halloween Trick-or-Treating will be held on

Friday, Oct. 31st

We hope you’re all looking forward to Halloween! Choose the hours that work for you—no specific time frame. Just a reminder that New Castle County has a noise ordinance starting at 10:00 PM.
We suggest the following to all the parents/guardians and trick-or-treaters:
*Please be careful when crossing the streets.
*Only visit homes with their lights on and/or doors open.
*Be respectful of those who aren’t participating by skipping
houses that have their lights off and doors closed.
*And for those driving around the neighborhood on Halloween,
please drive slowly and keep an eye out for all the spooky
ghouls and goblins!

Have a fantastic time, be respectful to everyone, and enjoy a Happy Halloween!

Save the Date! If you have boys and girls in grades K-5, we'd love to have you and your child come to our Join Scout Night at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025, at the First Presbyterian Church, 292 W. Main Street, Newark DE. We'll have information about Cub Scouts for the parents and games for the kids! If you can't make it, no worries, you can always sign up here: Newark Cub Pack 56
Pack 56 was established in 1956 and is the longest-standing Pack in Newark. Cub Scouts participate in grade-appropriate adventures focused on Character/Leadership, Outdoors, Personal Fitness, Citizenship, Personal Safety, and Family/ Reverence, and most importantly, they have a lot of fun!
