SASS for Breast Cancer in Licking County Education on early breast cancer detection and financial and emotional support after diagnosis SASS for Breast Cancer was created in 2006.

Originally funded by the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Columbus Affiliate, it is now supported entirely by local donations and the Public Health Partnership of Licking County, Inc. SASS is housed out of the Licking County Health Department and serves women throughout the county. Most health insurance plans are required to cover screening mammograms, but for women without insurance, BCCP can help! BCCP offers no-cost breast cancer screenings to eligible Ohio women. Great job Newark Volleyball team and fans for raising $1,170 for their Volley for the Cure game. All money raised will be donated locally to Newark’s Screening And Survivor Support for breast cancer.
