Today we're excited to share a few photos of ACE Mentor Program of NJ Summer Experience externs Vihaan and Samantha, who recently wrapped up their time with LAN Associates, gaining valuable insight into the architecture profession through hands-on experience. During their time with the firm, they learned the fundamentals of Revit, explored rendering techniques, and honed their presentation skills before showcasing the final project to the LAN team.

A huge thank you to LAN Associates for hosting Vihaan and Samantha and for investing in the next generation of architects! 👷‍♂️

We saved a fun one for the final scholarship profile from our 27th Annual Scholarship Dinner earlier this year! Last but certainly not least, we want to highlight brothers Ethan and Nathaniel Grossman from our Middlesex Team at JP Stevens High School, who both took home a $2,000 ACE NJ Scholarship! 💰

Pretty cool stuff, if you ask us. Congrats to Ethan and Nathaniel and we wish you both the best of luck on your construction industry journeys! 🏗️

After some morning showers, the skies cleared up and it was an absolutely perfect day for golf at Lake Mohawk Golf Club this past Monday! ACE NJ 🤝 Turner NJ

Last month Turner Construction Company's ACE Mentor NJ Summer Experience externs spent the day learning about the importance of Community & Citizenship (C&C) to Turner Construction as a company, and more specifically, to the Turner New Jersey office.

Turner also had the opportunity to learn about the experiences that have shaped the construction career pathways their externs are pursuing. It was especially exciting to hear that the three externs have worked on projects involving data centers, net-zero sustainability, and modular housing for individuals experiencing homelessness. Conversations helped build a strong sense of connection, commonality, and community. 💛

C&C also introduced the externs to the firm's volunteer initiatives supporting two local nonprofit organizations: Elijah's Promise in New Brunswick and SHIP - The Samaritan Homeless Interim Program. Together, they spent several hours assembling hygiene kits for individuals experiencing homelessness. Thanks to the team's efforts, we prepared 105 kits for SHIP and 100 essential cutlery packs for Elijah's Promise.
