As we've mentioned, the ACE Mentor Program of NJ 2025-2026 Program Year was truly special for so many reasons, but we need your help to make this year even more impactful! More highlights from the past year include:

🔹 National Recognition: ACE NJ Middlesex Team students won first place in the Construction Industry Round Table National Competition.
🔹 Scholarship Achievements: Two ACE NJ students received national scholarships.
🔹 Final Presentations: Welcomed a record number of students presenting their final projects at NJIT, along with increased guest attendance, and a new sponsor.
🔹 Summer Opportunities: Expanded summer opportunities for students through camps and work experiences.
🔹 Scholarship Growth: Established the Rose Reichman Scholarship, a new annual scholarship.

The ACE Mentor Program of NJ 2025-2026 Program Year was one for the record books, but we need your help to make the next year even more impactful! A few highlights from the past year include:

🔹 Program Growth: Increased the number of students served by adding two new teams.
🔹 Board Growth: Welcomed Steve Diemer, Therese May, and Levi Barrett to our Board of Directors.
🔹 Committee Engagement: Activated new committees and subcommittees, which now include our Executive Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, Program Committee, Team Leader Liaison Committee, Governance & Nominating Committee, Fundraising Committee, Finance Committee, Membership Committee, Education Committee, Communication Committee, and Alumni Committee.
🔹 Strategic Planning: Presented a strategic plan focused on expanding student and alumni opportunities while growing the program effectively and sustainably.

ACE Mentor Program of New Jersey 🤝 Newark School of Architecture & Interior Design

Newark Board of Education’s newest high school welcomed its first ninth-grade class last September, giving students the opportunity to explore architecture, interior design, real estate, and building trades like plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, through hands-on learning. 🛠️🧰

ACE Mentor Program of NJ is excited to announce that we will be working with the school and its leadership to bring , industry leaders, and real-world experiences to its students, but we will need more mentors and firms to help host teams in downtown . In the coming years, there will be an opportunity to expand ACE NJ programming at the school and reach even more students, but we need industry professionals to make it happen. So, if you want to help introduce students to the AEC industry, this is your chance!

Today marks the start of Careers in Construction Month, which is all about celebrating the people building the world around us and introducing the next generation to the many career paths that make it all possible. 👷‍♂️

From skilled trades and construction management to engineering, architecture, project planning, and beyond, the industry offers opportunities for a wide range of interests and skill sets. Through hands-on learning, , site visits, and connections with industry professionals, ACE Mentor Program of New Jersey helps students explore these possibilities and discover where they might fit in the . 🏗️

🚧 October is Careers in Construction Month! 🚧

This month is all about celebrating the people building the world around us. From job sites to classrooms, the ACE community is continuing to learn, teach, and lay the foundation for future careers in construction. 💪

Oh, we are so back. 😤 The ACE Mentor Program of NJ 2026-2027 Program Year is about to kick off! Wondering how you can get involved? Say less. 👇

This year we're proud to be expanding with two new teams in both Morristown and at Lakeland High School. Current teams include:

📍 Bergen County
📍 Hightstown High School
📍 Hudson County Schools of Technology High Tech High School
📍 JP Stevens High School
📍 Lakeland Regional High School
📍 Morristown
📍 Newark Teams 1-3
📍 Parsippany Teams 1-2

Please note that our high school locations are exclusive to students from that school only, but all other locations are open to new students. 🏫

There are so many ways to get involved with ACE Mentor Program of NJ, whether you’re an AEC professional, firm, alumni, or just a supporter! Become a mentor or team leader, host a site visit, serve as a guest speaker, host a summer extern, volunteer, sponsor a scholarship or event, or help recruit students and mentors.

The 2026-2027 Program Year is right around the corner, but with school now back in session, we wanted to roll back the clock and revisit the ACE Mentor Program of New Jersey 27th Annual Scholarship Dinner at Titan Union Sharespace in June! 🕰️

The evening brought together students, mentors, sponsors, educators, and industry leaders to recognize the individuals and projects that embody the spirit of ACE Mentor Program of New Jersey. 👏
