As part of their 11 Days of Service, Covenant House New Jersey youth and staff joined the New York Red Bulls for an incredible afternoon of soccer, connection, and community, complete with a BBQ hosted by their partners at Toyota!

Spending the day alongside the Red Bulls players and staff was incredibly meaningful for our youth. Experiences like this remind our young people that they have a community behind them, cheering them on every step of the way.

A huge thank you to Tonilynn McCaffery and her team, the New York Red Bulls, and Toyota for bringing everyone together and creating such a memorable day for our youth! ♥️

From the Music Room to the Courtroom! ⚖️✨ Our CHNJ youth stepped into new roles, challenged themselves, and discovered the power of their own voices. Through our mock trial experiences, they built confidence, practiced critical thinking, and learned that their possibilities are bigger than they may have imagined. 💜 When young people are given the opportunity to learn, lead, and shine, incredible things happen!

Their support of our Youth Advocacy Center in Atlantic City helps ensure youth have access to legal representation with municipal court matters and are able to move forward as independent young adults. The YAC provides direct legal services and legal education to young people ages 18–24 experiencing homelessness and survivors of human trafficking, helping them understand their rights, navigate legal challenges, and remove barriers to housing, employment, education, and long-term stability.
