Please join the HBA-NJ's Young Lawyers Committee at its 12th Annual Holiday Fundraiser, Virtual Magic Show, on December 16, 2020, via Zoom at 6:30 pm. This family friendly event features Rogue the Magician, as seen on America’s Got Talent!

Admission: $25 per family

100% of the proceeds from the ticket sales of this event will be donated to an organization in NJ that serves unprivileged children and teen across the state.

The HBA-NJ will also be matching $1 for every $1 received, up to $500.

The HBA-NJ YLC would like to thank everyone who donated to our 1st Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive! With your generous donations, we were able to collect and donate over 2,000 items!! We were able to help 5 food pantries/shelters with the donations received. Times are hard, but the HBA-NJ is standing strong together! We hope you had a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

Please join the HBA-NJ YLC in its Thanksgiving Food Drive. This year, due to ongoing COVID restrictions, we will be collecting canned and non-perishable food items and cold weather clothing items between November 6, 2020 to November 22, 2020. The donated items will then be divided between shelters and food pantries across New Jersey, just in time for Thanksgiving! Pursuant to Article 8, Section 4(i) of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey's ("HBA-NJ") By-Laws, on October 15, 2020 at 6:30 pm, the HBA-NJ's Young Lawyers Committee (“YLC”) will be holding a telephonic YLC membership meeting to discuss the 2020-2021 programming and calendar.

During this meeting, YLC members will also select a Chairperson of the YLC who will serve on the Board of Trustees commencing on November 1, 2020 as a non-voting member of the Board of Trustees.

The YLC meeting is open to all YLC members. YLC membership is restricted to HBA-NJ members in good standing who are under 35 years of age or admitted to the practice of law in New Jersey for five (5) years or less.
