At a recent education hackathon in Ukraine, 38 educators worked in teams to develop new ideas for classroom learning, supported by mentors over two days.

The feedback speaks for itself:
• 66% of participants are already planning to launch their own projects
• The experience was rated 9.9/10

These kinds of practical, collaborative formats are helping educators bring new approaches into the classroom—strengthening how students engage with economic thinking.

Over 1,000 students from 24 regions across Ukraine have taken part in the regional round of the Economics Olympiad.

This stage brings together some of the country’s most motivated students, with 61 advancing to the national final and 7 recognised as regional winners. From here, the top participants will continue their journey toward the international final later this year.

We’re proud to support this work alongside .center, helping students build the knowledge and confidence to understand how economies work—and how choices shape their future.
