📣 We are excited to announce another orientation date!

Due to continued interest in MOCC, we are excited to add one more orientation date for families who would like to learn more about joining us!

📅 Thursday, June 11
⏰ 10:00 AM

This orientation is open to anyone interested in MOCC. Families may register and pay membership fees after attending orientation.

A few quick notes:

✅ Class fees may be paid over the summer
✅ Class fees must be paid in full by the first day of classes
✅ No childcare will be available
✅ Well-behaved children are welcome if they can remain quiet
✅ Tables will be set up in the gym for quiet activities like coloring, books, or games

Come learn more, ask questions, and see if MOCC is the right fit for your family! We’d love to meet you.

📣 We’re considering adding another MOCC Orientation on Thursday, June 11 at 10 AM!

This would give families a little extra time to complete orientation, register for classes, and finalize payments before co-op starts.

Looking for a fun way to keep kids reading over the summer? The BOOK IT!® Summer of Stories program is open for children in Pre-K through 6th grade! Families can set reading goals, track progress, and earn FREE Personal Pan Pizzas along the way.

Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice gave us freedoms we often enjoy without a second thought. As we spend time with family and make memories this weekend, may we also take a moment to reflect with gratitude. ❤️🤍💙

WOW! 💙

We had 71 families join us for Member Orientation today!

Seeing so many families gathered together and excited for the upcoming year was such an encouragement. We’re thankful for each family that came, asked questions, connected, and chose to be part of this community.

This is shaping up to be an amazing year at MOCC! ⚔️📚

Orientation Day is here! 💙

A quick reminder that Member Orientation begins at 10:00 AM today.

📍 Please drive around to the back of the church and enter through the covered entrance.

Children are welcome! We just ask that children staying with parents in the orientation area are able to sit quietly so everyone can hear and focus during the meeting. The playground, movie room, computer lab, and nursery options will also be available.

📣 Member Orientation Reminder!

Our upcoming **Member Orientation is Thursday, May 21st at 10:00 AM** and is **required for all members before class registration opens**.

Children are welcome to attend! We want parents to be able to focus while also making the morning easier for families, so we’ll have several options available:

🛝 The playground area will be open, with members outside helping monitor children
🎬 A movie room will be available
💻 The computer lab will be open
🧸 Preschool-aged children may spend time in the nursery
👨‍👩‍👧 Children who are able to sit quietly are welcome to remain with parents in the cafeteria during orientation

Orientation is expected to last approximately **1.5 hours**.

If you're unable to attend this session, we will also offer another **Member Orientation on August 6th at 10:00 AM**.

We look forward to sharing information about the upcoming year and helping everyone get ready for classes. See you there!

If you have an educator library card (or have been thinking about getting one), now’s a great time to stop by and update it!

Starting May 5, you can refresh your card and receive the new educator card design—plus a ⭐ star-shaped stress toy while supplies last.

👉 MOCC teachers: your MOCC teacher ID badge works to qualify for an educator card, so you can take advantage of these perks too!

Educator cards through the Licking County Library include:
• Borrow up to 80 items at a time
• 28-day checkouts with renewals
• A free bag of books at Friends book sales
• Up to 5 forgiven lost items per year

Whether you’re a homeschool parent, co-op teacher, classroom teacher, or just love learning with your kids, this is an incredible (and free!) resource for your home or classroom.

If you’re local, it’s definitely worth the quick stop in to get updated. 💙

📣 It’s almost time for MOCC membership registration!

Our membership renews each May, and families can apply (or reapply) starting May 15 for the new year.

At Mid-Ohio Christian Co-op, we’re more than just classes. We’re a Christ-centered homeschool community focused on connection, support, and doing life together 💙

We offer opportunities for the whole family through co-op classes, sports, drama, field trips, and fellowship events throughout the year.
