🎉 Congratulations to Archer! 🎉

Every year, we give out the Kindness Award 🥇 – an award in honor of Sensei Josh’s younger brother, Channing, who tragically took his life at age 16 due to a cyberbullying incident. This award recognizes kids who show kindness, stand up for others, and make the world a better place.

This year, Archer earned it by being a true leader, showing kindness, and defending others all year long. 💛👏

Let’s all give him a big shoutout for this amazing achievement! 💪

Five years ago today, I received the worst phone call of my life.

My dad called to tell me that in the early hours of the morning, my younger brother Channing had taken his own life.

I can still feel the waves of emotion that hit me—shock, devastation, and guilt that I carry to this day.

Channing had reached out to me just weeks before, asking for help with his struggles at home, and I wish I had done more.

We never truly know the depth of someone’s pain. We can only hope to be a light for those we care about, to be a voice of hope when they need it most.

Today, I travel the country visiting schools talking about addiction and prevention, but I always include a slide about Channing.

His life and death serve as a powerful reminder to our youth: life is delicate, and empathy is essential. If his story can save even one person, then his lesson lives on.

Please, check on your loved ones. You never know how much a simple conversation could mean.

Rest easy, Channing. You are missed beyond words. 💔

If you are going through a terrible situation, I want you to hold on.

If Channing could’ve waited just two more years, he would’ve been away from his oppressive environment and living his own living the life that he chose.

Stay strong today and keep pushing forward.

The IMPACT today was amazing‼️

I gave my keynote 🔑 to an entire middle school.

400+ kids gave me so much love at the end.

Two kids came forward and gave me hugs with tears in their eyes.

They shared that they had tried to take their own life previously. They thanked me for sharing this story with them. 🙏🙌🏻❤️🤍🩵
