Our Thanksgiving food giveaway at Jones Elementary on November 24th was a powerful reminder of the impact we can have when we come together to support one another. The Jones staff's dedication to serving their families with kindness and compassion was truly inspiring. We will truly miss working alongside our schools and community. Dear Community,

After four meaningful years of service, One Purpose Food Pantry will officially close its doors on December 1st. It has been an honor to support the Delaware community, and we are deeply grateful for the relationships and impact we've built together.

We recognize that this news comes at a difficult time, as many Delawareans continue to face rising food costs and reductions in SNAP benefits. While we may be closing, we encourage you to visit our Resource Page at www.onepurposefoodpantry.org for a list of other local food pantries that can provide continued support.

We would also like to extend our deepest thanks to our incredible partners. Your generosity, collaboration, and unwavering commitment have been instrumental in helping us serve thousands of families with dignity and compassion. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Tomorrow, September 27th, please come out and support the Christiana Community's restoration efforts at the Christiana Community Center, originally a school for black children that was tragically arsoned and left unrestored.
