The Newark Youth Community Cleanup Campaign, Driven Minds LLC (DMMonSTARz7v7) and Lift As We Climb Inc. are organizing a community cleanup to teach community improvement to our youth.

The cleanup will take place Saturday, February 18, from 11AM-2PM, on Elizabeth Ave between Meeker Ave and Renner Ave.

Greenfest Newark seeks to inspire and empower Newark's consumers, communities, and businesses to work, play, and live green. Greenfest seeks to become a 100% sustainable festival with zero environmental impact, to increase the visibility of environmental issues the city is facing and encourage community members to take measures to protect our natural resources. Attendees are encouraged to walk, ride bikes/scooters, rideshare or take public transportation to the event to decrease our carbon footprint. Workshops will provide eco-friendly and fun learning tools, vendors will demonstrate sustainable and green products, natural food chefs will provide demos and so much more!
