On behalf of myself, Mary Rivera, & La Junta Civia Cultural I extend a warm and heartfelt thank you for the extraordinary support we received at the 5th Annual Warmth for All event. This year marked a significant milestone as we expanded our reach to cater to the entire family, revealing the true power of collaboration and generosity.

A special note of gratitude goes to our esteemed partners: Goya Foods, ClaraMaass Medical Center, Griselle Ponce Civic Association Inc., Latin Flavor and La Junta Civica Cultural.
Griselle Ponce, Jomy Loz, Miguel Cosme and Lissette Colon who initiated this event and have kept it thriving for five years and counting.

We also express deep appreciation to Griselle Ponce, President of PRDPNJ for allowing us to join forces for this year’s magical event. Also, to the organizations that contributed generously: Puerto Rican Day Parade Inc., Hispanic Firefighters Association, Mujeres al Poder, and Project KIND. Your support played a pivotal role in shaping this impactful day.

A heartfelt salute to the dedicated individuals who lent their time and energy as volunteers, the true engine behind the success of this event. Each one contributed significantly to creating a beautiful day filled with giving, sharing, and love.

Estos son los rostros de los auténticos norteamericanos.

Conocidos como apaches, sioux, los cheroquis o los cheyenes, existieron otras muchas etnias como los pies negros, los arapajó o los navajos. Los diversos pueblos forma­ban conjuntos humanos de demografía modesta, lo que les permitía tener siempre a su dis­posición grandes extensiones de terreno y jamás co­nocieron el hacinamiento ni los problemas urbanos. Con la llegada de los colonizadores europeos a partir del siglo XV, millones de estas personas han sufrido masacres, persecuciones y exclusión social. El racismo estructural de Estados Unidos los ha llevado a vivir marginados en reservas naturales, en un continente en el que son los auténticos habitantes originales.
