Last night we held our September Membership Meeting.
We opened by taking a moment of silence to honor and remember those lives lost in the 9/11 attacks 25 years ago.

Some of the topics I discussed included the Palisades and Gateway Surface Alignment Projects, the misconception regarding Data Centers and the conversations we should be having, and the upcoming midterm elections.

I look forward to seeing you all at our next meeting on October 5th, where we will present our annual service pin awards and begin our food drive collection.

In Solidarity,

Manny Amador, Jr.

This Labor Day, take a moment to honor the blue-collar working class heroes that sacrificed everything to create the labor movement. Those sacrifices for a better workplace improved lives for generations and today we must never lose sight of where those comforts came from, and stand in solidarity to push the movement forward!

I would like to wish each and every Local 472 member and all of our Brothers & Sisters of LIUNA a Happy Labor Day!

Feel the Power!

In Solidarity,

Manny Amador
Business Manager

At our June Membership Meeting last night, we presented our annual Local 472 S.E.T. Scholarship Awards to two very impressive and well deserving high school seniors:
Weronika Malinoskwi and Abran Martinez!

We had a great turnout with a lot of member engagement, thank you to all who attended! (hope you enjoyed the hot dog, t-shirt, and raffles)

As a reminder, today is Primary Election Day, please get out and vote! Make your voice heard!

In Solidarity,
