Mental Health America of Licking County

Parent Support offers evidence-based parenting programs to caregivers of children ages 0-18. The focus is on relationship building, communication skills, appropriate discipline and reactions to children's actions.

🚗 Need a ride to your medical appointment? We've got you covered!

Licking County Health Department is partnering with Uber Health to make it easier for individuals to get to your medical appointments.

Eligible riders must:
✅Request ride 24 business hours in advance
✅Must have a mobile phone with texting capabilities
✅Must be located in Licking County

Summer lunches begin TODAY at Licking County Library's Downtown Newark location! Anyone age 18 and under can visit the lower level from 12 - 1pm for free lunch.

Some kids don’t cry for help.
They explode for it.

Behind tantrums, yelling, aggression, or “bad attitude”
there’s often overwhelm, loneliness, frustration, or unmet emotional needs.

Children express emotions with the skills they currently have.

anger is the only language their pain knows.
