A reminder that our Experience Hope: Mothers Grieving the Loss of a Child peer support group will gather tomorrow evening at Hope Valley from 6:00–7:30PM. 🤍

This group is a safe and supportive space for mothers navigating the loss of a child to come together in connection, understanding, and hope. Whether you feel like sharing, listening, or simply sitting in the presence of others who truly understand, you are welcome here.

We are so excited to officially begin sharing more about the Belonging Barn at Hope Valley. 🤍

The Belonging Barn was created to provide a welcoming, encouraging space for children with disabilities and their families to experience connection, nature, and hands-on animal interactions in a peaceful and supportive environment.

In collaboration with Slater Family Farm Outreach, this program offers meaningful animal-assisted experiences designed to help foster confidence, belonging, emotional connection, and joyful moments for every child who participates.

Families will have opportunities to engage with gentle farm animals, spend time outdoors, enjoy the beauty of Hope Valley’s property, and simply slow down together in a space intentionally designed to meet children where they are.

The Belonging Barn includes two separate 4-week sessions this summer held on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:30PM, with participation intentionally limited to just 5 children per session to help create a calm, supportive, and individualized experience for every family.

We believe belonging matters deeply - and we are honored to help create experiences where children and families feel seen, supported, and celebrated. 💛

We were so honored to be part of the Rise Christian Church Outreach Fair this past weekend!

It’s such a cool experience to be in the same room with so many incredible nonprofits across Licking County, each doing meaningful work and serving others with such purpose.

We’re always grateful for the opportunity to share the heart behind Hope Valley, and even more excited to welcome new faces to come alongside us in serving, connecting, and bringing new hope!

It made the day even more meaningful knowing that Rise is the home church for our Directors. 😊 To be in a place that has poured so much into us, while sharing the mission of Hope Valley, was truly special.

We’re so thankful to be part of such a generous and giving community, and we can’t wait to see how God continues to move. 🤍

We had so much fun welcoming the Licking County Public Safety Academy to our campus - a meaningful partnership led by the Licking County Sheriff's Office through their SPARKs Academy, alongside PALS Chrysalis Health. It was truly an honor to host a group so dedicated to learning, connection, and community.

The pond was full of excitement today - our friends caught so many fish! 🐟 From the laughter by the water to the joy on every face, it was a beautiful reminder of what happens when people come together in a place of peace, nature, and shared experience.

A special thank you to our friends from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for joining the Licking County Sheriff’s Office today to help make the experience even more meaningful!

Days like this are what Hope Valley is all about - connection, encouragement, and creating moments that matter. We’re so grateful for each of you who spent the day with us! 😊

Today, on Bereaved Mother’s Day, we hold space for a kind of motherhood that is often unseen, yet deeply sacred.

To the mothers who carry love and loss in the same breath - this day is for you.

We honor the strength it takes to keep going when you are aching. We acknowledge the quiet courage in facing each day, the waves of grief that come without warning, and the enduring bond that not even death can break. Your love continues.

We also lean into the promise that faith offers - that even in the deepest sorrow, God is near to the brokenhearted. That He sees every tear, hears every whispered name, and holds your child in eternal peace and wholeness.

Today, and every day, you are not alone.

We remember with you. We grieve with you. And we believe in the hope that love never ends. 🤍

Today we were blessed to welcome student and teacher volunteers from Newark Catholic High School who joined us in celebration of Saint Joseph the Worker Day!

They spent the day helping us prepare our property for summer programming- lending their time, energy, and hearts to make a real difference. From outdoor projects to general cleanup, their hard work has set the stage for an incredible season ahead.

We are so grateful for their service and the spirit of generosity they brought with them. Thank you for helping make Hope Valley shine a little brighter! 💛
