I am proud to have partnered with the Newark Fire Foundation by making a donation to purchase a piece of equipment known as “The Turtle” to assist in fighting fires involving electric vehicles.
As an EV owner in a community where more and more people are driving electric vehicles, this device is an important tool in the Fire Division’s toolbox.
Thanks to the Foundation’s efforts, each Ward will have access to at least one Turtle.
