Hi all 👋🏻 We have A LOT of new followers (thank you!) so we thought we would re-introduce ourselves. From left to right:

1. Lori Edwards: Operations Manager. The glue that keeps us all together and moving forward on a daily basis.
2. Erin Miller: Starting Strong Director. She works alongside our young adults, who are consistently teaching her what's cool....and what's not 😉
3. Shelby Conley: Executive Director: She is supported by the best team while getting out there to make sure everyone in Licking County knows who Fostering Further is.
4. Lyndsey Harshbarger: Foster Support Director: She's supporting our foster & kinship families and youth in the most amazing ways possible!

Welcome Kit Explosion 💥🎉

A huge thank you to the Licking County Community Center for 60+ Adults for collecting items for our Welcome Kits! We are incredibly grateful for your generosity, kindness, and thoughtfulness.

These kits provide essential household items and encouragement to young adults as they take their first steps toward independence. Because of the support of our community, we are able to continue meeting these needs and making a meaningful difference. Thank you for being part of it! 💚

What an incredible day at the Fostering Further Car Show Fundraiser! We are so grateful for everyone who came out to support foster, kinship, and adoptive families in our community. From the amazing cars, to the vendors, volunteers, sponsors, and every person who attended — thank you for making this event such a success!

A very special thank you to:
⭐ Terry Sellars for your MANY hours of time and work to make this possible! We are so thankful!
⭐ Fraternal Order of Eagles #387 for being generous hosts and allowing us the space for this incredible event! Thank you also for your very generous donation!

⭐ The many, many volunteers who showed up to run music, concessions, grill and all the details in between that made this event run smoothly!

💚 Last year, we were able to provide around 30 Welcome Kits to young adults moving into their first apartments. This year, we’ve already assembled and distributed 10! Each kit costs about $300 on average, and we couldn’t do it without the generosity of others.

A huge thank you to the small groups at First Presbyterian Church and Cornerstone Church for their kindness and donations of Welcome Kit items—we are so grateful for your support!

Thank you, CLC - Christian Life Center (I Love My City) and a local small group, for your incredible generosity in providing meals last month for our Foster Support Group and Adulting 101 class! 🌮 Together, these groups serve around 80 individuals each month, and your support helps make it all possible. We are so grateful for your kindness and willingness to come alongside these families in such a meaningful way.
