Tax Worx is still having phone issues. They have a temporary number that is working for now 405-735-3102.

The phone numbers on the signs coming into the neighborhoods cannot be accessed at this time. A former board member has changed the contacts and passwords to the google account for the association and can’t be recovered by the existing board. Tax Worx is the primary contact for financial information and their number is 405-753-3031. The best way to reach board members is through messenger on here and contact numbers will be sent privately.

The meeting details for the annual meeting have been posted and there have been changes in our business operations. We did not raise dues this year although we needed to because the price of roadwork has gone up substantially. Currently we have about 50% of owners who pay their dues and we cannot maintain the association in the manner it should be. We can continue to raise dues, but that only penalizes the owners that already do the right thing. Going forward we have adopted these practices:

There will be a late fee of $40 assessed to dues not paid by 3/31 annually.

Properties that have unpaid dues for 3 years or more will liens filed at the cost of $30+ the cost of the lien. This will be updated yearly.

Liens will only be lifted once the balance is paid in full.

Lien releases are $30+ lien release fee and will be done once a month and must be ready to go 1 week in advance of the 1st of the month or it will fall to the next month.

We will still accept payment plans. Tax Worx has the ability to set up payment plans or you may contact us directly to set up arrangements as well. It is not our goal to punish people, in fact it is the oppostite, we want to bring owners who are interested in clearing their balance by giving them options to catch up by keeping penalties to a minimum. We cannot plan and execute association business without knowing how much we have to work with for the year.

Notice of Annual Meeting
Dear Property Owner,
This year’s annual meeting of the Pecan Creek Property Owners Association is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023 from 9:00am until the close of business at the Pecan Creek Baptist Church. The meeting will be called to order, a quorum established, a reading of last year’s annual minutes to include a review of association expenditures for 2022. Annual dues set at $145 in 1/1/2022 are due 1/1/2023 and past due 1/31/2023 a $40 late fee will be added on 3/31/2023. Liens will be placed on all lots that haven’t paid their dues for 3yr’s or more and a $30 fee + cost of lien will be assessed to your debt and will be updated each year until they are paid in full. We have a contract with Tax Worx’s a bookkeeping firm who is now doing our billing, filing, audit and keeping our financial records. There’s an election of 3 board members for a 3yr. Term with a 15 minute recess to allow the board to elect new officers. Discussion of old and new business to follow brought up during the year. Below is the list of current Board members :
Jesse Stanley (P), Rodney Cochran (VP), Dana Greeson (S), Mark Watral (T), John Greeson, Tim Davis, Karen Kloepping, Howard House, Melton “JR” Walden.

Be sure to include your section and lot number(s) on your payment, (e.g., PECNE 123, West lots 100 & 101, etc.) Payments will also be accepted at the Jan. 28th. meeting but please arrive early so we have time to process the payments before the meeting starts. Please plan to attend this meeting as they do cost money to set up and if we need to have more then one meeting to get a quorum that money can’t be put to use on the roads.

Dear Property Owner,

This year’s annual meeting of the Pecan Creek Property Owners Association will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 9:00am at the Pecan Creek Baptist Church until the close of business. The meeting will be called to order, a quorum established, a reading of last year’s annual minutes to include a review of association expenditures for 2021. The dues have been set at $145 (10%) increase due 1/1/2022 and past due 1/31/2022 due in part to adding a tax bookkeeping firm to take over our financials. There’s an election of 3 board members for a 3yr. & 1 for 2yr. terms with a 15 minute recess to allow the board to elect new officers. Discussion of old and new business to follow brought up during the year. Below is the list of current Board members and the upcoming vacancies:
