We’re proud to share that our teachers at two of our newest partner programs have officially completed their CoderZ training! 🎉🤖

This milestone prepares them to bring hands-on, virtual STEM-robotics learning to their students and inspire the next generation of girls in tech.

Our new partnerships include:

✨ Nuevo Bosque Pies Descalzos School in Colombia—part of Fundación Pies Descalzos, founded by Grammy Award-winning artist Shakira to transform children’s lives through education

✨ Growing Up Green Charter School in NYC, our second partner site in New York

A huge thank you to CoderZ for supporting our mission and providing access to their incredible virtual STEM-robotics platform. Your partnership is helping us expand opportunities for girls and young women in underserved communities around the world. 💙

Together, we’re empowering teachers, inspiring girls, and building the future. 🚀

An exciting opportunity!

Jedidah K, MBA, one of our Advisory Board members, is offering an incredible opportunity for women that aligns with our shared mission.

She’s hosting a free AI workshop on April 18th called AI Explained, designed for women who don’t have a technical background but want to understand and use AI. It’s one hour on Zoom, completely free. If you know women in your network who’ve been curious about AI but don’t know where to start, she’d love for you to share it with them.

What you don’t see is the grind behind the greatness.🤸

The early mornings. The missed landings. The reset, again and again. 💦💦

Gymnastics isn’t just about routines — it’s about resilience, learning to fail, adapt, and come back stronger every single time. That same mindset is what fuels the next generation of innovators, engineers, and problem-solvers. 👨🏾‍💻

That’s why CC Cooley stands with The Community Bots — because when girls are given access to STEM, they don’t just learn…they build, create, and transform their futures. 🔮

Train hard. Build bigger.👷‍♀️

Mentorship can change how a girl sees her future. 💡🤖

Our mentoring program continues to grow, connecting girls in Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic with women working in STEM. Through shared videos, messages, and live Zoom conversations, mentors from Amazon and ServiceNow are helping our students imagine themselves as scientists, engineers, programmers, and mathematicians.

By sharing their journeys—the challenges they faced, the subjects they loved, and the paths they took—these mentors are showing our girls that success in STEM is possible. Their guidance helps build confidence, resilience, and the belief that obstacles can be overcome.

Next stop: Colombia. 🇨🇴 We’re excited to expand this program so even more girls can benefit from the power of mentorship.

“This program has taught me many things, among them to program much better. In the future, I hope to study software development, and The Community Bots gives me all the opportunities for that.” 💬

Meet Valeri, a high school student in the Dominican Republic who’s been part of for 2.5 years and dreams of becoming a software engineer.

Last year, her team, MIR Revolution, won the Innovation Project Award at the national FIRST LEGO League competition and was invited to the presidential palace to meet the president of the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴✨

This spring, they’re back to compete again, driven by the courage and hope that comes when girls know they belong in STEM robotics.

✨ Big news from NYC! ✨

We're thrilled to announce Growing Up Green Charter School in Long Island City as our newest Community Bots partner!

This partnership unites their focus on experiential learning beyond the classroom with our mission to empower young women in STEM robotics education.

Activities include teacher training on CoderZ's platform, an 8-week online STEM-robotics course, July in-person summer training, and donations of laptops and Lego kits.

These incredible young women will learn to code, build, and become the innovative problem-solvers our world needs. As their School Leader, Anabel Schmelz shared, this is about nurturing "innately curious learners, compassionate critics, and passionate challengers of the status quo."

This is our second NYC partnership, and we couldn't be prouder! 🗽

💜 Support Community Bots so we can offer more programs like Growing Up Green to inspire girls in STEM-Robotics. See link in bio to donate and help us expand access to transformative STEM education for young women everywhere.

Meet Cinthya Hernández Darce 💙

From Nicaragua to Costa Rica, Cinthya is using her journey as a Senior Data Analyst at ServiceNow to light the way for the next generation of women in STEM.

When she discovered The Community Bots on ServiceNow’s Deed platform, she knew she had to give back to her home country, even from a distance. What started as mentoring girls in Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic became something more profound: “I thought I’d be giving advice, but I realized I was learning just as much from them.”

Without female mentors of her own growing up, Cinthya is determined to be the representation she never had. Her message to young girls? “Life is about opportunities. Take them as early as you can, that’s the one thing you won’t regret.”

Join us in thanking Cinthya for her commitment to pay it forward and inspire future engineers in Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. 🌟

Your support helps us connect more mentors like Cinthya with girls who deserve every opportunity to thrive—link in bio to donate.

Meet Sairelis, an eighth grader at La Institución Educativa Antonio Nariño in Cartagena, Colombia, one of our partner schools.👭

👉 Watch the video to hear Sairelis share her STEM-robotics journey that started in the summer of 2024, when we held a successful in-person training program with the school’s teachers, followed by working with the girls. The school has now created a sustainable STEM-robotics program for over 50 girls.👏🏿

This year, “Robotics Queen Nariño” will compete in its first-ever FIRST LEGO League STEM-robotics competition. 🦾

🔆 Sairelis represents the 1,300 students at the K-12 Antonio Nariño, located in the underserved neighborhood La Esperanza in Cartagena. When we invest in girls like Sairelis, we are investing in engineers, innovators, and leaders who will shape our future.

Sairelis and the girls in The Community Bots programs around the world are why we do this work. Please help us reach more girls like her. Donate now. Link in bio. 🎁

We’re closing out this holiday season with gratitude for the girls who inspire us every day. 🎄

Meet Juliet, a 5th grader at Bronx Charter School for the Arts. One year ago, she joined The Community Bots. This winter, her school will compete in its first-ever FIRST LEGO League competition. 🤖

But here’s what excites us the most: Juliet’s dreams are bigger now.

“I want to become an engineer because The Community Bots has taught me how to create things that are out of the box and how things can be really creative.” 💙

She still lights up when she remembers her first robot, and watching the robots “wrestle with each other” at our summer program. That joy, spark, and “I can do this” aha moment? That’s what we strive for in our girls.

Juliet represents the 300 students at Bronx Arts, a school that integrates creativity with academics and serves predominantly Black and Hispanic/Latino students. When we invest in girls like Juliet, we’re investing in engineers, innovators, and leaders who will shape our future.

👉 Watch the video to hear Juliet share her STEM journey in her own words.

She and the girls in The Community Bots programs around the world are why we do this work. Please help us reach more girls like Juliet. Donate now. Link in bio. 🎁
