For WAFD 2026 delegates, Geneva was a chance to see international diplomacy from the inside.

A visit to the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the UN in Geneva, brought them closer to that world, offering a firsthand look at the people and work behind the Kingdom’s engagement with international organizations.

The Global Network for Youth, founded by Misk Foundation with the , was announced at the International Youth Day 2026 Celebration during the 31st & .

Mashael Al-Zoghaibi, Executive Director of Global Engagement and Innovation of Misk Foundation spoke about how the network will create pathways for young people to access international opportunities, engage in global platforms and have a stronger voice in policy and decision-making.

At the One World, One Game, One Goal event in the United Nations General Assembly Hall, Misk Beneficiary Dr. shared a powerful perspective on youth mental health. Drawing on her experience as an emergency physician, she explored the realities facing young people today, the importance of early support, and the role of sports, the arts, and creative expression in promoting mental wellbeing.

Dr. Al Nahari also led an interactive activity on youth mental health during her speech, inviting participants to pause, reflect, and engage in a shared wellbeing exercise. Her session concluded with a call to create environments where young people are supported before they become part of the statistics.
