With a broken heart 💔

Michael Tyukin HY"D was killed yesterday in Lebanon. His funeral will take place tomorrow, Monday, in Ashkelon.

Michael was a lone soldier and has no family in Israel apart from his mother and grandfather.

His unit and team are still deployed and will most likely not be able to attend the funeral.

Please come to his Levaya if you are in Israel, so that Michael receives the honour and respect he deserves.

The Levaya will be held tomorrow
Monday 1st June at 17.00, at the Military Cemetery in Ashkelon.

To the mothers of our Lone Soldiers and spouses whose husbands are serving: Thank you.

Thank you for raising heroes. Thank you for standing beside them through the highs and lows. Thank you for loving them through every stage of the journey.

30+ IDF Lone Soldier Veterans walked into YU in NYC today with one question:
What comes next?
For many of them, the structure is gone. The brotherhood & sisterhood is gone. The mission is unclear.
That’s where this day mattered.
Together with Yeshiva University’s Shevet Glaubach Center for Career Strategy and Professional Development, Nevut joined the first Achi Career Conference for IDF Veterans and a space to start building that next step.
