30+ IDF Lone Soldier Veterans walked into YU in NYC today with one question:
What comes next?
For many of them, the structure is gone. The brotherhood & sisterhood is gone. The mission is unclear.
That’s where this day mattered.
Together with Yeshiva University’s Shevet Glaubach Center for Career Strategy and Professional Development, Nevut joined the first Achi Career Conference for IDF Veterans and a space to start building that next step.
Real conversations
Real tools
Real direction
Thank you to:
Dr. Lavie Margolin
Who broke down how to actually succeed in the job interview process and for giving us all his book.
The Honorable Mazi Pilip
IDF Veteran and Nassau County Legislator
Who showed what it looks like to turn service into leadership and how to be proud!
A huge thank you to the person behind it all Jordan Stecker - Assistant Director .jordan.stecker
Rabbi Daniel Coleman, MBA Senior Associate Director
Naomi Kapp, MS. Ed. Associate Director
Kovi & Etan as student leaders!
And to every Lone Soldier who showed up
This is not the end of your story
It’s the beginning of something new.
Thank You Yeshiva University, Shevet Glaubach Center, FIDF, IDF Veterans Club at YU and everyone who made this happen.
