Today Adah Grand Chapter Celebrates the extraordinary life, visionary leadership, and enduring impact of Rev. Jesse Louis Jackson Sr., a towering civil rights icon, compassionate global humanitarian, pioneering political leader, and unwavering champion for Black dignity. 🖤 From standing in solidarity with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the forefront of the Civil Rights Movement, to founding Operation PUSH and the Rainbow Coalition, Rev. Jackson devoted his life to transforming protest into policy, pain into progress, and struggle into sustained empowerment. He marched in Selma, fought tirelessly for voting rights, advocated passionately for economic justice, and redefined what political courage means for future generations of Black leaders. In 1984 and 1988, he made history by mounting groundbreaking presidential campaigns, forever changing the political landscape. He proved that our voices, votes, and leadership rightfully belong in every room where power resides. Rev. Jackson's presence was more than historic - it was foundational. From unforgettable appearances on stage to insightful interviews and direct messages to our community, he consistently used his voice to uplift, educate, and inspire. He believed deeply in the power of Black media, Black ownership, and Black storytelling, demonstrating his commitment through his actions. His legacy lives on in every march for justice, every young leader who dares to run, every institution built to serve our people, and every moment we choose courage over comfort. We honor your life, thank you for your sacrifice, and pledge to carry your mission forward. Rest in power, Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. Your work is finished, but your impact is forever.

A bright young mind from our Beacons of Hope Yourh Division I, who dreams of forecasting the future as a Meteorologist, recently had the opportunity to meet a role model who sparked inspiration somce they appeared on the news New York. Brittany Bell, affectionately known as the “Weather Scientist” to Comrade Micah, visited Micah's school on Friday, leaving a lasting impression. With an enduring fascination for the sky and its phenomena since the age of 2, Micah seized the moment to request Mrs. Bell's signature in her treasured almanac, and was further delighted as Mrs. Bell shared her story on the news on Monday.
