THE DREAM. THE IDEA. THE NATION.

In just 1,458 words, the Declaration of Independence gave voice to a revolutionary idea that continues to shape our nation 250 years later.

Today, we celebrate not only America’s independence, but the enduring principles embodied in the Declaration, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. These Charters of Freedom continue to remind us that liberty, justice, and the rule of law require the stewardship of every generation.

Happy Independence Day from the New York County Lawyers Association. 🇺🇸

Law Day 2026 highlights the Rule of Law and the American Dream. Proud to see our President, Richard P. Swanson, and President-Elect, Ronald C. Minkoff, featured in the New York Law Journal reflecting on how law, opportunity, and immigration shape that story. Let’s continue the dialogue.

An evening dedicated to those shaping the future of the courts.

The New York legal community came together to honor an exceptional group of newly elected, newly appointed, re-elected, and re-appointed judges across multiple courts and divisions.

From the energy in the room to the significance of the moment, the night reflected both recognition and responsibility.

With remarks by Hon. Edwina G. Richardson, the message was clear. Judicial service carries lasting impact, and the strength of the bench depends on those who step forward to serve. Congratulations to our honorees and that you to our Reception Chairs Craig S. Kesch, Esq. and Russell D. Morris, Esq.
