As we've been building Little Oaks, one thing we've heard again and again is how much families need a place to find support, connection, trusted resources, and people who understand.

We're in one of those moments ourselves.

So we're coming to our community without a mask-

We need support.

The initial funding that helped us build Little Oaks is coming to an end sooner than expected.

We're working to raise $30,000 by September 1 to give Little Oaks the runway to keep moving forward.

We've spent this first chapter listening, learning, and building. We've brought families together through our Community Living Rooms, built relationships with practitioners and community partners, and developed a Resource Hub to make it easier for families to find the support they're looking for.

Now we're asking our community to help us build the next chapter.

And that doesn't only mean making a large donation.

We’re so grateful to connect with parents, caregivers, supporters, and community members.

We came together with no pressure to have the answers. It was just a space to breathe, connect, and be with others who get it.

This is why Little Oaks exists.

“I didn’t realize how much I needed this.”

That was something we heard more than once after our very first Little Oaks Community Living Room.

At Little Oaks, we believe the best programs begin with listening to the people they're designed to support.

As we prepare to launch our first caregiver support programs, we're asking parents, caregivers, families, and community members to help shape what comes next.

What kinds of support would actually feel meaningful?

What barriers make participation difficult?

What would help families feel more connected and supported?

We've been listening. 🌳

One of the things we've heard most from parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children is this: "I just want a place to meet people who understand."

So we're creating one.

We're grateful to partner with to launch the very first Little Oaks Community Living Room, an intimate monthly gathering where caregivers, families, friends, and supporters can slow down, connect, and simply be together.

Just a welcoming space to experience community, meet extraordinary people, and discover what Little Oaks is building together.

Little Oaks is thrilled to roll out our "Early Childhood Caregiver Circle" this summer! This six-session program is facilitated by Brette Stein, LCSW, a neurodiversity-affirming therapist who specializes in supporting autistic individuals and their families.
