We are working on something truly spectacular and inspiring for New York City's young women and girls. These young women and girls are the next generation of #SheInnovates tech leaders, innovators, and creators. We present to you, A NEW REALITY: Tech Summit for Girls, Saturday, August 18th, 2018.

A NEW REALITY: Tech Summit for Girls is taking place at SAP Next-Gen located at 10 Hudson Yards, 48th floor in the Leonardo Centre.

This full day summit starting with registration at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. is specifically for girls from marginalized communities in New York. We want to inspire girls to vision themselves in spaces and careers traditionally not visible and accessible to them. A NEW REALITY is to spark innovative creativity in the minds of girls between grades 5-10.

This interactive, stimulating summit will expose girls to the latest tech & digital trends in blockchain, A.I., multi-media, gaming and robotics. A NEW REALITY participants will select 1 of the 17 Sustainable Development Global Goals to create either an app or software solution to a challenge facing their community, using Design Thinking. These young leaders will have the opportunity to network and engage with the industry's leading professionals, entrepreneurs, leader and mentors.
