Commissioned by ALT and developed through our Composer Librettist Development Program, this hilarious new opera brings a fresh twist to Shakespeare’s iconic world.

We’re especially proud to partner with Pittsburgh Opera, one of more than 150 companies worldwide that have produced works by ALT alumni—helping bring an extraordinary variety of new operas to stages across the globe.

✨ WORKING FOR THE MACBETHS receives its world premiere in February 2027—and we can’t wait to see it come to life. Join us in celebrating Johanny and Marcus on this exciting milestone. We hope to see you there!
