Vision Urbana, Inc. & Met Council - UJA are members of the Social Care Network under Public Health Solutions advocating for this Medicaid waiver to be renewed. We are calling on every elected official to support the renewal of the NYS SCN HRSN WholeYounyc program past April 1st 2027.

Vision Urbana, Inc. and Hispanic Federation proudly celebrated the graduates of the “Learn How to Grow & Cook Your Own Food” program this week at Vision Urbana. Over the past 7 weeks, residents of our Loisaida community within zip code 10009 experienced an in depth analysis of how food impacts their bodies and practical steps to transform their eating habits. Graduates received quality ingredients and food products throughout the cohort as well as free cooking equipment to sustain nutritious meal preparation post graduation.
