We spend a lifetime building what matters—our families, our values, our communities.
But a legacy doesn’t continue on its own. It’s shaped by the choices we make today.

This Make-A-Will Month, take a moment to reflect on what you want to carry forward.
Because when your plans are in place, your impact doesn’t end—it grows.

Every student has a different story. Every donor has a different vision for creating impact.

At Turkish Philanthropy Funds, scholarships are designed to reflect both—supporting students in reaching their full potential while giving donors meaningful ways to invest in education. Whether it’s recognizing community leadership, honoring the legacy of a loved one, expanding opportunities for young women, or supporting a specific field of study, each scholarship creates a pathway for impact on both sides.

Join us for a special Voices of Partners webinar featuring TPF Scholars whose educational journeys have been made possible through the generosity of our community.

🎤 Öykü Bulut, Yale University
🎤 Eren Ersoy, University of Pennsylvania
🎤 Naz Kaya, Brown University
🎤 Dilara Özdoğanlar, The Ohio State University
🎤 Ali Sait Yılkın, Harvard University

Together, we’ll explore how scholarships not only open doors for students, but also offer donors a way to create lasting, personal impact—connecting vision with opportunity.

We’ll be hosting a live Q&A—bring your questions!

250 Years. Countless Stories. One Shared Future.

This week marks the 250th anniversary of the United States—two and a half centuries shaped by the belief that freedom creates opportunity, and that opportunity carries responsibility.

Among those who have helped shape this journey are Turkish-Americans, contributing across fields and disciplines through creativity, discovery, entrepreneurship, scholarship, and service.

Their stories remind us that the American promise is not only what we achieve, but what we choose to give back.

At Turkish Philanthropy Funds, we are proud to carry this legacy forward.

Because our stories are woven together. And the story of America is still being written.

Happy 250th Anniversary, America.

To the years ahead—and the stories we will continue to write together.

Environmental challenges don’t exist in isolation. What happens to ecosystems, local economies, and communities is deeply connected—and meaningful, lasting solutions require collaboration.

Across Türkiye, local organizations are leading innovative work that not only protects the environment, but also creates opportunities for community engagement, education, and sustainable livelihoods.

At TPF, we believe in the power of locally driven solutions supported by strategic philanthropy. From restoring freshwater ecosystems to protecting endangered species, these efforts show what’s possible when collaboration is at the center.

Join us for our Voices of Partners webinar featuring:

🎤 Turan Çetin, Tarsus Slow Food Earth Market Association
🎤 Özge Sönmez, Turquoise Coast Fund
🎤 Aylin Uçkunkaya, TÜRSİYEV

Together, we’ll explore how environmental restoration, community engagement, and local livelihoods can drive sustainable impact in southern Türkiye.

We’ll be hosting a live Q&A—bring your questions!

“Painting. Teacher. Friend. 1-hour bus. I love it. Bye.”

This is how Edip, a 20-year-old from Hatay, describes the rehabilitation center he attends every day.

With a 70% intellectual disability, Edip uses few words—but his joy says everything. Even after a one-hour bus ride, he shows up excited, ready to learn, connect, and express himself.

At our partner, ESYAD’s center, he finds more than crayons and coloring pages. He is supported by caregivers who encourage him, celebrate his efforts, and help him build confidence and independence.

Edip’s mother discovered the center through a social media post—and found a safe, supportive space for her son. Today, it’s part of a larger effort to provide psychosocial support, promote inclusion, and empower individuals with disabilities and their families.

In Edip’s words, it’s simple: a place where he belongs.

Thanks to your support of the TPF Turkiye Earthquake Fund, over $1M in grants have been provided for psychosocial and mental health programs—reaching more than 150,000 people in collaboration with dedicated local partners. Your support makes stories like Edip’s possible.

“What excites me about giving is being able to reach young people. You give them a bit of a spark, and all of a sudden, it catches fire.”

Meet Aysegul Ildeniz—tech leader, author, and a proud member of TPF’s Board. She is also one of the visionaries behind the TPF Summit, helping shape a platform that brings ideas, people, and purpose together.

Driven by a deep belief in the power of connection, Aysegul is passionate about engaging with young minds and creating spaces where inspiration can grow into action. Whether through her books, social media, or TPF events, she shares her journey to motivate and uplift the next generation.

For Aysegul, TPF is more than an organization—it’s family: focused, professional, and deeply caring. We are honored to have Aysegul as part of the TPF family and to share her story with you. Through voices like hers, we celebrate the resilience, generosity, and meaningful change that the TPF community fosters every day.

We’re proud to announce the 25th round of grants from the TPF Türkiye Earthquake Fund.

96 organizations. 187 projects. $845K in new grants. Millions of lives reached. Together with our partners, we continue to address evolving needs in education, youth development, economic opportunity, psychosocial support, and community resilience.

This milestone belongs to all of us—the local organizations, community leaders, and survivors who continue the long work of recovery every day, and to the donors whose generosity has made sustained support possible. Thank you for being part of this journey.

The needs of individuals with autism and their families don’t end with childhood. They are lifelong. And so is the need for meaningful opportunities, independence, and inclusion.

At TPF, we believe in a world where everyone has equal access to essential services and the chance to thrive. That’s why on June 13, we’re coming together once again for a bike ride to raise both awareness and critical funds to create employment opportunities for young adults with autism, helping turn potential into possibility.

Join us for the ride! Can’t make it? You can still be part of the impact—tap the link in bio to support. Every contribution helps open doors to opportunity.
