It was a pleasure to meet with a former brother in blue, Bob Sabatino, who is the Executive Director of Lyme Society Inc. Bob has spent the last several years traveling the state to educate others about Lyme Disease and frequently advocates for more funding from all levels of government to test and treat tick-borne diseases, including Lyme. He is also part of a federal that has really shaped the medical community’s response to Lyme Disease in recent years.

This session I was proud to support several pieces of legislation that would have increased funding to support testing, treatment, awareness, and even prevention of Lyme Disease and other tick-borne diseases.
