Help Reunite Boon Hom with Her Sister

Boon Hom is safe at Elephant Sanctuary Laos, healing from years of hardship and learning to live without fear.

Now, there is a chance to save her sister too.

🎯 Goal : $40,000

Lek Chailert is negotiating the rescue Boon Hom’s sister and to bring her to the sanctuary, where Boon Hom is waiting and a peaceful new life can begin.

Like many elephants across Southeast Asia, she has spent decades working for humans. After a lifetime of labor and exploitation, we now have the chance to give her freedom, safety, and a forever home.

With your support, Boon Hom’s sister can finally live surrounded by care, companionship, and kindness.

A new leader is emerging: NamThip changes lives 🐘✨

When NamThip was rescued, she was physically and emotionally devastated. Weak, fragile, and deeply traumatized, her recovery felt uncertain.

But NamThip had other plans.

Over time, she transformed into one of the most confident young elephants at Elephant Nature Park and today, she’s becoming a leader within the rescued herd.

Fearless and deeply social, NamThip often ventures out to meet other elephants, building friendships and bringing new companions into her growing family. Watching older elephants place their trust in her has been nothing short of remarkable.

From a traumatized young elephant into the heart of a thriving herd, NamThip continues to show us what resilience can look like.

Help support NamThip’s care by becoming a Foster Parent today through the link 🔗 https://bit.ly/48SsNwV

⚠️ Scam Warning for Elephant Nature Park Supporters ⚠️

As a proud partner of Save Elephant Foundation, we want to help spread awareness that fake websites and social media pages impersonating Elephant Nature Park have been scamming visitors and elephant lovers.

Some tourists have reported losing money after booking through fraudulent sites, while others were unknowingly taken to unethical elephant camps with no connection to ENP.

Please remember:

❌ Elephant Nature Park has NO branches anywhere in Thailand
✅ The ONLY official website is: www.elephantnaturepark.org

Scammers have also been stealing photos and videos of rescued elephants to create fake donation pages and accounts.

Please double-check before booking visits or making donations, and help share this warning to protect others from being misled.

Thank you for continuing to support ethical elephant tourism and genuine sanctuary work.

Throwback to baby Chaba 🥹

This past weekend, Chaba turned 5 years old! 🎈

It feels like just yesterday she arrived at Elephant Nature Park with her mother, BunMa, never leaving her side as they began adjusting to their new life in sanctuary.

Today Chaba is curious, confident and always looking for something new to get into with her best friend Pyi Mai. Most importantly, she is growing up surrounded by safety, freedom, and love, far removed from the fear, control, and hardship her mother and so many rescued elephants once endured.

This is the future every elephant deserves. ♥️

During our Executive Director Nikki’s recent visit to Elephant Nature Park, she learned about the urgent need for support at the Voice of Animals Foundation dog shelter, which is currently caring for 400+ rescued dogs.

Nikki met with Jane Manchai, the General Manager of VOA, and was deeply moved by his and his team’s dedication, as well as the vital work being carried out for vulnerable animals. Trunks Up | Abraham Foundation was delighted to provide support in the form of three months’ worth of dog food.

We are grateful to stand alongside organisations working tirelessly to give animals the care, safety, and compassion they deserve. 🐾

Little Jun quenching her thirst at Elephant Highlands 💦🐘

With her mother and nanny always close by, Jun spends her days exploring the beautiful landscape of Elephant Highlands, a project created by Lek Chailert and Save Elephant Foundation.

Following our last post about the important progress happening for elephants in Bangladesh, we wanted to share another hopeful moment from Dhaka last month. 🐘🇧🇩

Love & Bananas: An Elephant Story was screened at Alliance Française de Dhaka alongside a talk by Saengduean Chailert, bringing together government representatives, diplomats, environmentalists, lawyers, and animal advocates for an important conversation about elephant welfare in Bangladesh and across Asia.

The event was organized by the PAW Foundation, led by Rakibul Haque Amil and Tarana Hossain, in partnership with the Bangladesh Tree Protection Movement, led by Amirul Rajiv.

Distinguished guests included:

Shaikh Faridul Islam
Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change

H.E. Mrs. Thitiporn Chirasawasdi
Ambassador of Thailand to Bangladesh

H.E. Haji Haris Bin Othman
Ambassador of Brunei to Bangladesh

As conservation partners of Lek, we support her work for elephants across Asia. Seeing these conversations happening at this level gives us real hope for the future.

Real change happens when awareness leads to collaboration, compassion, and action. 🌏🐘

A mother’s love ♥️

Baby Luna is learning how to navigate the forest, exploring with curiosity and taking every chance to practice her balance. With her mother Nong Pon by her side, Luna, has nothing to worry about.

Together, they forage and move deeper into the forests of Journey to Freedom. We are proud to support this incredible project whose herd is made up of mothers and their children, through our foster program.

For elephants, motherhood is lifelong. Mothers protect, teach, comfort, and lead their babies through the world for years, forming some of the strongest family bonds in the animal kingdom.

To all mothers, in every form, thank you for the care that shapes the world around us. 🐘
