Thanks to everyone who joined us for today’s Esperanto meetup in the Financial District! 💚

One of the things we enjoy about these gatherings is never knowing where the conversation will lead. Today we talked about travels through Europe, several months spent in Georgia, a mystery spy novel in progress, and plenty more—all while getting a chance to speak Esperanto together.

Experienced speakers, learners, and newcomers are all part of the conversation.

Hodiaŭ ok homoj partoprenis en la renkontiĝo de ESNY en la Upper West Side. Ni kunvenis por trinki kafon, foliumi librojn kaj, kompreneble, babili en Esperanto. 💚

Estis nia unua renkontiĝo en ĉi tiu nova loko, kaj ni tre ĝojis pasigi la dimanĉan posttagmezon kune.

We had to meet indoors today because of the construction outside, but it turned into a very nice Esperanto meetup all the same.

Good conversation, a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of Esperanto around the table. Thanks to everyone who joined us today.

Yesterday we enjoyed our annual picnic in Central Park, with good company, relaxed conversation, and plenty of Esperanto in the summer air.

If you missed it, we’ll be meeting again in the Financial District on Saturday, June 27. Everyone is welcome, whether you already speak Esperanto or are just starting to learn.

We hope to see you there.

A really nice Esperanto meetup in NYC today. We had 11 people join us, including 2 newcomers.

The usual inside wall was full, so we took the gathering outside and made the most of it. It turned into a great afternoon of conversation, community, and living Esperanto in good company.

Our next meetup will be in Sheep Meadow, Central Park on June 13 at 12 PM.

The article captures something many Esperantists already know: Esperanto is not only about vocabulary and grammar. It is about meeting people across borders without surrendering everything to English, nationalism, or machine translation. It is about the human side of internationalism.

A great afternoon for Esperanto in NYC today.

We had 8 people at our meetup, including 4 first-timers. Two of them had only just begun learning the language, and it was great to see them jump in and enjoy the atmosphere.

Another wonderful Esperanto meetup in NYC yesterday. 💚

We had a great mix of returning members, new faces, conversation, language games, and plenty of Esperanto practice in a relaxed café atmosphere.

It’s always exciting to see the community continue to grow.

Our next meetup will be Saturday, May 16. Newcomers and beginners are always welcome!
