The RENT 30th Anniversary Community Talkback took place on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center located at 300 Wall Street in Kingston, NY.Organized in collaboration with original Broadway cast member Byron Utley, the highly anticipated, free event reached maximum capacity ahead of time

The event featured a reunion of original Broadway cast members including Byron Utley, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Michael Greif, Fredi Walker-Browne, Gwen Stewart, Gilles Chiasson, Rodney Hicks, Wilson Jermaine Heredia.

The cast shared personal reflections, stories from the early days of the production, and insights into the lasting legacy of composer Jonathan Larson.

ABOUT:
Sheherazade Holman, fresh off a year-and-a-half National Broadway tour of Glinda the Good Witch in the national tour of β€œThe Wiz,”, sang at a local school in the NYC tri-state. She help lead assemblies for the 4th and 5th graders on Thursday, June 4, 2026.

She sang for the students and spoke about their journey to the heights of national theatre, sharing insights into her career and experiences in the performing arts.
