We guide them and their families during their individual rehabilitation journeys, ensuring they're never alone. Belev Echad is committed to building a community of kindness around veterans of the IDF and their families living in New York City and in Israel. Our programs aim to alleviate the extraordinary physical and emotional toll of military service through educational, social, financial and cultural support. Our programs ensure our troops are cared for well after their tour of duty ends.

For this brave soldier, healing didn’t stop at finding a supportive community at Belev Echad—it grew into a passion for helping others. From volunteering at hospital bedsides to joining our Neshek women’s program, her journey has inspired her to become a clinical psychologist specializing in trauma and PTSD.

The Neshek Gala at the Central Park Zoo in NYC was an incredible evening - by women, for women - honoring and supporting our wounded female soldiers.

Thank you to everyone who showed up to be a light in the darkness for our sisters-in-arms.

The most dangerous part of a severe injury isn’t the physical trauma; it’s the existential crisis that follows. When everything you were is stripped away in an instant, the hardest battle becomes finding a reason to keep going.
True rehabilitation isn’t just about patching up wounds—it’s about healing the spirit. It takes an overwhelming amount of community, love, and a total shift in perspective to pull a warrior out of the darkness of a hospital bed and back into the light.
At Belev Echad, we don’t just focus on the physical recovery. We focus on rebuilding the person underneath. This is what it looks like when a soldier transitions from asking why a tragedy happened, to realizing they still have a massive purpose left to fulfill.
This life is worth fighting for. Every single day. 💪

For many religious soldiers, the decision to enlist is a profound spiritual crossroads. This brave wounded warrior shares his journey of choosing to spend years immersed in Torah study before answering the call to serve as a combat soldier.
Enlisting meant stepping far outside his comfort zone—leaving the familiar world of the yeshiva, entering an entirely new environment with unfamiliar faces, and stepping up as the only son in his family ready to put his life on the line. He highlights the intense weight and real fears of that enlistment day, when the true significance of combat service suddenly becomes real.
At Belev Echad, we honor the deep sense of purpose and diverse backgrounds that drive our heroes to protect our nation. The journey from the yeshiva to the battlefield requires a unique kind of courage, and we are dedicated to standing by this soldier—and all of our wounded warriors—providing the community and care they need to heal and rebuild.

The Neshek Gala ’26 at Central Park zoo was a magical night led by women, for women.

Together, we came out to support wounded female IDF soldiers and help build the Neshek healing space: a place for our women warriors to heal, recover, and feel held by community.

From the stories shared on stage to the energy under the tent, the night was a reminder of the strength of sisterhood and leadership.

Thank you for showing up for our warriors and letting them know that they’re never alone. Swipe for highlights from
