The Charm Foundation is about coming together to help people with lupus and their families and friends. Too many people fighting lupus are being denied care or become financially burdened to the point of bankruptcy because there is little treatment, no cure and little to no support for people with this disease. We will fight to get our people any assistance available to help them maintain a normal

life. When being diagnosed with an incurable disease, it is overwhelming. Until a cure is found, we want to help people in any way we can. We encourage you to share your stories, ideas and experiences so that we can develop programs to help you find the tools needed to beat the odds and end lupus forever.

Grabbed this from a Fibro group because it partially comes from a Lupus concept of 'but you don't look sick' and the spoon theory for lupus. There is a lot of crossover between lupus and Fibro. So, if you think I don't look sick, thank you. That was my goal. I dont need your sympathy. I need you to support research. I need your friendship and understanding that when I disappear or cancel plans, I am struggling to keep up the facade of not looking sick while fighting a battle for my life.
