Right now, our chapter is proudly gathered alongside nurses, educators, researchers, students, and healthcare leaders from across the country at the NAHN 51st Annual Conference at the Denver Marriott Tech Center — guided by this year's powerful theme:
"Somos NAHN: La Fuerza de Nuestra Comunidad — Building the Next 50 Years of Innovation, Advocacy, and Commitment." ✨
And what a fitting backdrop Denver is. Just like the red rocks of Garden of the Gods — carved by time, standing tall, unshakeable — our comunidad is built on generations of strength, resilience, and love. From sunrise hikes among the sandstone spires to unforgettable evenings under the stars at Red Rocks, the Mile High City keeps reminding us that when we rise together, no summit is out of reach. 🌄
A special shoutout to our NAHN NY students 🎓👏 — the future of nursing, and honestly, our present too. Watching them practice intubation and CPR skills in hands-on simulation labs, network with leaders from institutions like the Mayo Clinic, and show up with courage and corazón (yes, even on crutches — nothing stops our students! 💪) fills us with so much pride. Ustedes son la fuerza. You ARE the next 50 years.
As the only national nursing conference dedicated to addressing healthcare issues impacting the Hispanic community, this gathering isn't just a conference — it's a homecoming.
