Branches of Hope for Gaza Branches of Hope 4 Gaza is a volunteer-run mutual aid collective supporting six interconnected families in Gaza. This is not charity. This is solidarity.

Survival shouldn’t be a luxury.

direct funds that go directly to families. Survival should not be a luxury, yet food, baby formula, medicine, and tents now cost hundreds or thousands of dollars.

Ramadan Mubarak 🌙✨ As millions around the world gather in peace to break their fast, this is the third Ramadan that Palestinians in Gaza are observing while enduring genocide, displacement, and hunger. No family should wonder if there will be food to break their fast.

Many of our 10 families worry each month if they will have a place to sleep. They are living in fragile tents, or the badly damaged shells of their homes, with no electricity or plumbing.

Your donation can provide nourishing meals, shelter, formula, clean water, and direct support to families who are fasting under unimaginable conditions.

Meet the artist: Hala Dahman, age 16, is from one of the 10 families supported each month by donations to the mutual aid fundraiser. She’s an incredibly talented and versatile artist who says “I paint the sea and sky to fly from the sounds of war.” She hopes to become a doctor and treat the wounded in her country. , her art was featured in Colors That Survived, a show curated by in partnership with and the incredible .

Please follow and encourage Hala - she and her family have been living in a leaking tent in the brutal Gaza winter, but they are hoping to return to their badly damaged Gaza City apartment and begin to rebuild.

Today our dear and have artwork in a show in NYC curated by Ms. Rachel! Repost Ahead the ‘Colors That Survived’, a fundraising exhibition in NYC held by , renowned photographer has donated one of her works in support of the fundraiser. She selected ‘Ava twirling’ from her “Eden and After” series, which focuses mainly on children.

The children’s drawings will be on view at 526 W 26th St., New York on January 13, from 10am to 5.30pm, and available to purchase online via Artists Support from January 13–30. Each work is printed in an edition of 20, priced at $200, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the young Palestinian artists. Nan Goldin’s donated photograph, Ava twirling, NYC, 2007 from her Eden and After series, will be available via online silent auction from January 13–18.
