The Each-Other Project

The Each-Other Project Celebreating and Creating a community for GBTQ PoC through arts and advocacy! We work as a platform to build a safe and relevant space for expression.

The Each-Other Proeject (The EOP) is about community, and engaging and interacting with that community. We represent facets of urban q***r life that aren't always seen or represented in mainstream media. The EOP uses creative digital content as their primary tool in creating and engaging community. Some of our current work includes:

: an ongoing interactive campaign aimed to rid th

e shame, and raise awareness, of depression and mental health amongst GBT POC. The Space Between: Our first short film exploring the boundaries of romantic and platonic love between two roommates. Modern Day Black Gay ( ): an introspective web-series that explores what it means to be Black and Gay in modern society. The series focuses on issues that Black, Gay men face as told through the eyes of its cynical protagonist Malcolm Hughes, a writer in his late twenties, who lives in Brooklyn, NY. I Hate New York: comedic web series about a black millennial who's trying to pursue his dreams and survive in the Big City, but failing at both. "Exploring:" Exploring is a series that creates dialogue that focuses on various topics within the LGBTQ community. Tandem: an artistic collaborative experience. This series combines the power of words and the beauty of visuals, a joint project between Poet & Cinematographer.

in honor of world AIDS day weekend, Write It Out! will celebrate people living with HIV with our in-person final sharing on monday, december 2, 2024 at 7pm (EST) in nyc. FREE RSVP, link in bio.

write it out! is a groundbreaking playwriting program, prize, and retreat for people living with HIV and AIDS. it is designed to cultivate a space for those living with HIV to grow their artistic voice. over 10 weeks, the chosen cohort develops the tools to center their narratives in theatrical work in hopes of expanding their imagination and healing. write it out! works to transform society and the theatrical landscape into a more equitable and stigma-free space for people living with HIV and AIDS. we take pride in being created by the community for the community.

Please note. HIV Stigma Exists. The decision to openly live with HIV still carries the risk of discrimination. Not all participants of WIO!, current and alum, are open about their status. WIO! honors participants' journeys regarding their HIV status and disclosure. WIO! upholds confidentiality. We ask folks to do the same. We're asking all attendees to refrain from sharing information about WIO! participants - current or alum - unless given clear, direct consent. Thank you for understanding how stigma shows up and honoring the boundaries that must be created.
