Meet Sophie!

Sophie is a 2-year-old, 30 lb little love bug who is very ready to find her forever home.

She’s house-trained, well-behaved, great with people, and loves other dogs. More than anything, Sophie loves affection — personal space is more of a suggestion in her world, and she will happily squeeze herself right in for a cuddle.

She’s also an A+ office dog, perfectly content curling up at her foster’s or coworkers’ feet while everyone works. She’ll let you know when she needs to go outside, rarely barks, and already knows sit and paw — especially when treats or extra love are involved.

Sophie is still getting used to some of the sights and sounds of the city, but she’s already a subway pro. She can be a little guarded around other dogs while on leash, but once she’s off leash, she loves to play. She even fits in a doggy backpack and is always ready to tag along on an adventure.

And apparently, golf cart rides are also very high on her list of favorite things.

Sophie is sweet, affectionate, adaptable, and looking for someone who won’t mind having a 30 lb shadow by their side.

Think Sophie could be your girl? Head to the link in our bio to read her full profile and apply to adopt 💜🐾

Meet our newest little chefs — in order of appearance: Rigatoni, Ravioli, Ziti & Pastina 🍝🤌

These tiny pasta pups are officially joining the True North family and are looking for foster homes starting 9/26.

We’re looking for fosters who can commit to a minimum of 3 weeks and give one of these little noodles a soft place to land while they get ready for adoption.

Want to foster one of our chefs? Please complete a foster application on our website or through the link in our bio, then send us a DM!
