CANNES 2026 IS A WRAP! 🎬
The Cannes Film Festival is also a space where essential debates take place about culture, the entertainment industry, the shape of our societies and world overall. We’re proud to have been part of these leading creative voices and grateful for every conversation and event we participated in.
Our mission was clear: to spread the message of Arts Diplomacy and amplify our achievements and in particular through our "Global Women in Music" initiative.
For years, music’s role in film festivals was overlooked and we’re proud to have advocated for music as a key component of film and for a more equal, participatory, and interdisciplinary entertainment industry shaping our collective culture.
We achieved this notably through:
✅️ Panels on cultural diplomacy for Africa with l'Étoile d’Afrique’s "Summit on Narrative Sovereignty" at the Afronova Pavilion.
✅️ Participation in the World Women Foundation gatherings
✅️ Conversations at the Impact Lounge
✅️ Sessions on composers with the “Spot the Composers” & "La leçon de musique" initiative by Marché du Film & Sacem.
Film distribution for our award-winning documentary "Global Women in Music" was another key focus at the American Pavilion, and conversations are now following up. In that spirit, we’re proud to share that "Global Women in Music" has been named an official finalist at the Palermo International Film Festival 🏆. Finalist will be soon announced.
Last but not least, we were thrilled to meet our composer at artist residency, held in parallel to the festival at the sumptuous Château de Napoule.
