Chabad City Gan Preschool

Chabad City Gan Preschool At The Chabad City Gan, we strive to nurture each child’s innate sense of wonder and curiosity. We view each child as a precious gift entrusted in our care.

Chabad City Gan Preschool is a progressive early childhood center where your child's unique style of learning and developing is valued and nurtured in our warm environment We firmly believe that the cornerstone for all cognitive learning is a nurtured sense of self worth achieved by celebrating each child’s individual creative expression and their unique strengths. Our approach to integrated education is informed by both Jewish wisdom and the best of progressive educational practices, with a mix of the Reggio Emilia, and Montessori approach. These methods guide and inspire us to maintain a high level of respect for each individual child. This belief translates into every day and each encounter at City Gan.

Shabbat Shalom!

“Torah opens our eyes to see endless wisdom in simple stories.”
-Chabad.org

Today is Lag BaOmer—the 33rd day of the Omer and the yahrtzeit of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai.
Rabbi Shimon was a great sage who gave us the Zohar, the first book that explores the mystical side of the Torah. Through it, we’re given a glimpse into the soul of the Torah—the depth, the beauty, and the meaning behind even the simplest verses.
He taught us that there’s so much more beneath the surface. That the stories we grew up with hold endless layers of wisdom, if we just take the time to look a little deeper.

Please light Shabbat candles in memory of Chana bat Yehuda Leib and Hadassah bat Schneur Zalman

Tip Tuesday:)

🌙✨ *Important Nightly Reminder*

📌 *Note:* The following tip is especially important for parents who, for whatever reason, weren’t able to give their child one-on-one attention before bedtime.

💖 *Always kiss your child goodnight, even if you weren’t home when they went to bed and they’re already asleep.*

*Here’s why:*

1️⃣ They might not actually be asleep. In that case, receiving this dose of your gentle, unconditional love may be just what they need to finally fall asleep peacefully and have a great night’s rest.

2️⃣ Even if they are, they still benefit from your gentle kiss! 😴💤 Rest assured, it registers in their soul, contributing to a more peaceful sleep.

*Bonus Tip:*

📖 Along with the gentle kiss, you may wish to whisper a soft prayer to Hashem 🙏—asking Him to protect them, to continue taking care of them, and to grant you the wisdom, strength, and resources to support them and guide them in the right way.
