Las abuelitas y abuelitos de Pitt Senior Center se lo tomaron muy en serio y lo dieron todo en su presentación de “La zapatera prodigiosa, cuando Lorca volvió a Nueva York” pasándolo estupendo con su maestra Sandra Gumuzzio y el público.

Gracias al consejal Harvey Epstein quien estuvo entre los presentes, NYC Department of Cultural Affairs y Michael Tuch Foundation por el apoyo a nuestro programa en Pitt Grand Street Settlement Senior Center in Manhattan.

*** The abuelitas and abuelitos of Pitt Senior Center took it very seriously, gave it their all in their performance and had a great time with their teacher Sandra Gumuzzio and the audience.

Desde trasbastidores en el Bronx nos despedimos de la gira de LA CAÍDA DE RAFAEL TRUJILLO de Carmen Rivera. Nos presentamos en bibliotecas, anfiteatros e iglesias porque el teatro es para el Pueblo.

“Agradezco la oportunidad de haber tenido a Teatro Círculo en Perth Amboy. Nuestra comunidad nunca antes había disfrutado de una representación teatral basada en su propia historia, y todos los asistentes comentaron lo maravillosa que fue la obra”.

Las abuelitas de Soundview Houses Senior Center presentaron “Where is Vida; A Celebration of Stories, Laughter and Community” y lo pasaron de lo lindo con su maestro Daniel Diaza.

Mientras que en Bay Ridge Older Adult Center las abuelitas y abuelitos se presentaron con su “Talk Show” y celebraron con su maestro Fernando Gazzaniga y nuestra coordinadora del programa Caridad del Valle; en Pitt Grand Street Settlement Senior Center ensayan para el suyo con su maestra Sandra Gumuzzio.

En Teatro Círculo nos enorgullece nuestro programa ‘Abuelito(a), dime tú’ y nos hace feliz la felicidad de nuestras abuelitas y abuelitos. Gracias a la consejal Kayla Santosuosso, NYC Department of Cultural Affairs y Michael Tuch Foundation por el apoyo a nuestro programa en Bay Ridge Older Adult Center.
