In May, 10 years ago, Ireland made history by becoming the first country to legalise same-s*x marriage by popular vote. We were promised equality— the freedom to love who we love, to be who we are.
But since then, our spaces, and even the very essence of our s*xualitieshave been erased. And that erasure is happening thanks to the Gender Recognition Act (GRA).
Let’s not sugarcoat it: The GRA wasn’t just passed in the light of day. It was snuck in under the radar, with little public consultation, and it has fundamentally altered how we — as le****ns, g**s, and bis*xuals — can even define ourselves. It stripped away single s*x spaces, allowing men like Barbie Kardashian into a women's prison, under the banner of 'LGBTQ rights'. The GRA legally allows anyone to change their s*x markers on all official documents, without any medical oversight or requirement for proof of 'dysphoria', just a tenner and solicitor's signature. When the definition of s*x becomes legally obsolete, you cannot define or protect same-s*x attraction.
We have been seeing the real life ramifications of this in real time. A perfect example of how this affects homos*xuals can be seen with a female contestant on 'I Kissed a Boy' calling herself a “gay man,” and gay men being coerced to accept her self prescribed identity as fact. It has meant that le****ns are being forced to accept male-bodied individuals as women and are labelled “bigots” when they refuse. Or men screaming at us when we gather with other women, holding signs saying 'le****ns love girl c-ck'. It means gay men are being told they must date women who identify as men or face accusations of hating people with trans identities. Bis*xuals are expected to be open to dating people with trans identities, and are often left out of the discussion. The GRA has made our identities legally irrelevant.
And it didn’t happen by accident. The GRA 2015 was passed with barely any public consultation, with few real conversations about the long-term consequences — and now, we’re facing the aftermath. Our very right to define what it means to be same-s*x attracted has been legally nullified.
The truth? We’re being erased by the laws that were meant to protect us.
In the lead-up to Pride month, what do we see in the media? Article after article about how 'trans rights' are being “stripped away” in the UK, particularly following the recent UK Supreme Court ruling that affirmed protections for women and same-s*x attracted people. But where is the conversation about the rights of le****ns, g**s, and bis*xuals in Ireland? Where is the public discourse about how the GRA has erased our existence?
That’s why we’re doing what no one else will — because if we don’t speak up now, our voices will be drowned out forever. On May 31st, we’re standing up against the legal erasure of same-s*x attraction and women's s*x based rigths, and we need you there with us. This is not just about talking — it’s about resisting.
For the first time ever, the le***an-led founders of G**s Against Groomers, LGB Alliance, and Not All G**s will be on stage together, talking about what the real life issues gender ideology has done to lesbains, g**s and bis*xuals. We’ll expose the war on s*x-based rights, from the cotton ceiling to the destruction of the very definition of womanhood — and how it’s all connected to the GRA.
We’re discussing:
🟣 The erasure of same-s*x attraction and single-s*x spaces by the Gender Recognition Act.
🟣 The pressure on le****ns and gay men to accept the opposite s*x as s*xual and romantic partners.
🟣 The capture of Irish institutions by gender ideology.
🟣 The coercion of women out of le***anism to escape being labelled “transphobic.”
🟣 The exploitation of LGB youth online and through dangerous medical 'affirmation'
🟣 Chems*x culture and how it impacts gay and bis*xual men
This isn’t some casual “debate.” This is a resistance to the laws that have erased us — and that’s why this conference is essential.
You won’t hear this at Pride. You won’t read it in the Irish media. But you can be there on May 31st, in the room where we say: No more. We are not being erased.
Only 20 tickets remain — once they’re gone, they’re gone. If you want to be part of this historic moment, don’t wait. Get your ticket now. Share this far and wide.
