Through the films, panel, and community, the event underscored SNMVC's mission to ensure LGBTQ+ stories remain visible, celebrated, and central to our shared cultural landscape. Thank you to the filmmakers, panelists and attendees for a meaningful event.

Weren’t able to attend? Stay tuned for more from our signature film series, The Q***r Lens, and other events that uplift, educate, and celebrate our shared history.

“We have to remember that our history is not just our stories, but the brick and mortar buildings that hold our stories!”

We’re still celebrating our 100,000 visitor milestone and are excited to share this video from our friends at NYC Buildings !

Ensuring that historic spaces like the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center are protected and accessible is essential to keeping our history alive and our future strong.

Thank you for helping us reach this milestone and for your continued commitment to safeguarding this legacy.

💗💜💙 March is Bisexual Health Awareness Month
Bisexual+ people face unique health disparities — often driven by stigma and erasure, not identity.

At the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center, we honor the full spectrum of our community and reaffirm that everyone deserves affirming, inclusive healthcare.

Your identity is real.
Your experiences are valid.
Your health matters.

March is Women’s History Month — a time to honor the trailblazers, truth-tellers, and changemakers who have shaped our history and continue to move us forward.

At the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center, we uplift the countless women whose courage and leadership transformed a moment of resistance into a global movement for equality. From Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera to the many unsung heroes whose names we may never know, their voices and vision helped spark a fight that continues today.
