Brooklyn Multi-Service Community Center Corp. — BkMSCC — will receive the 2026 Community Leaders Grant from Citizens Committee for New York City for our project:

Bridging the Technical Gap & Promoting Diversity and Inclusion in STEM

This blessing came at the perfect time. Our account was down to its last cent, and this grant gives us the opportunity to restart programming, rebuild momentum, and continue serving our community with purpose.

Black History Month 2026 Award Ceremony

Thank you everyone who made this year toy drives that much better. While BkMSCC wasn’t able to host an event this year, we were able to contribute throughout Brooklyn. Toys, books, and winter gear was donated to Brooklyn Hospital Pediatric ward and emergency unit, Brooklyn Hospital WIC office, Fort Green Family Shelter through Brooklyn Prospect, and two ENY community events. WE NEED YOUR HELP – HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE 🧸🎁

BkMSCC (Brooklyn Multi-Service Community Center, Corp) is collecting new, unwrapped toys for children in the children’s ward of a local hospital.

Our usual funding for this project has run out, but the need in our community hasn’t. This winter we’re calling on neighbors, small businesses, churches, schools, and community groups to help us bring joy to kids who will be spending the holidays in the hospital instead of at home.

🗓 Collecting until: December 14, 2025
📍 Serving: Brooklyn & NYC area
🎁 What we need: New, unwrapped toys for children (all ages)
🚗 How to give: Call or text to schedule pickup or drop-off – numbers are on the flyer
