Tomorrow night (Friday, August 28th), follow us down the rabbit hole into the gloriously uncanny world of TRAPPED: MIND-ALTERING SHORTS at Industry City!

Through horror, satire, and psychological unease, this mind-bending program of shorts plunges into worlds where bodies mutate, belief systems fracture, and reality itself begins to slip deliciously out of reach.

Preceded by a special program from Listening Party!, presenting a collection of audio shorts—stories of hallucinations, drug trips, insomnia, and journeys into the surreal—limited tickets remain via the link in our bio. Secure your seats now, before they’re all gone!

FEATURED SHORTS:
• கத்து! (BLEAT!) by Ananth Subra
• COME AS YOU ARE // PEPPER WILHELM (1969-1998) by Teddy Collatos
• IMAGO by Ariel Zengotita
• THE LAST CINNAMON ROLL by Michael Langan

It's Closing Week. Help us raise $10,000 for what comes next.

For three decades, Rooftop Films has proudly brought independent cinema directly to communities throughout the five boroughs. As we head into the final week of our 30th Summer Series, we’re setting an ambitious goal: raise $10,000 in the next four days to help power all that comes next.

It's a lofty one, we know—but together? It’s well within reach.

Let's close out our 30th summer in style and help ensure that there's much, much more Rooftop to come on the horizon. Swipe through to find your way to help, and head to rooftopfilms.com/support to make it happen.

Consider this your first clue: on October 2-4, Rooftop Films will host a city-wide interactive treasure hunt in celebration of our 30-year anniversary!

The Rooftop Treasure Hunt will bring together thousands of game players: indie film buffs, urban adventurers, NYC historians, and anyone who wants to have fun solving tricky puzzles with friends! Challenging participants to untangle a variety of puzzles designed to deliver them to iconic NYC film locations drawn from Rooftop’s rich exhibition history, one massive prize (which is being kept under wraps for now!) will be awarded to the first person or team to solve the final puzzle and complete the quest. Various other rewards will also be available, and everyone who makes it to the end gets access to a top-secret event!

Think you’ve got what it takes?

A limited number of discounted early-bird tickets are now available, exclusively to our members and loyal fans! We expect this first-of-its-kind Rooftop experience to sell out quickly, so secure your early-bird tickets now, via tinyurl.com/RooftopTreasureHunt, while you still can!
