The North Jersey Young Marines proudly volunteered at the South Amboy Youth Athletic Association’s Easter Egg Hunt! Our Young Marines helped set up the event and kept the fun going by assisting with arts & crafts, games, and egg hunt activities. We’re honored to support our community and be part of such a joyful day!

This past weekend the North Jersey Young Marines graduated their first recruit class of 2026. The graduation took place at Colonia High School in New Jersey where the recruits conducted their training. This batch of recruits were very resilient and eager to learn. In the end the recruits were able to graduate and proudly call themselves young marines. In addition to the recruit graduation, the young marines had an award ceremony where young marines were given ribbons, and some young marines were able to rank up.

In honor of Saint Patrick’s Day the North Jersey Young Marines marched with a large American flag given by the American Irish Association for over a mile in the Woodbridge Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. Despite the strong winds and less than ideal conditions the Young Marines stayed strong and carried the flag the entire distance without complaint.

What a great time at our annual banquet. We celebrated and gave awards to deserving individuals for their commitment and support. Semper Fi

This weekend’s drill consisted of a PFT, drug demand reduction (DDR) activities, and a clothing drive. As whole, we were able to collect numerous bags of donated clothing, shoes, bags, bikes equating to several 100s of pounds, to be distributed to those in need. We ended the day with the awarding of several ribbons to YMs and a promotion to YM/Cpl. Semper Fi
